Commission a mural
Public art reinforces accessibility. It says everyone deserves beautiful things, not just those who can afford it.
My first mural commission was in the flat of a fellow bartender I worked with in London in 2020. I didn’t know much about murals at the time, but I knew I wanted to do them. The first mural I can recall seeing painted was in my elementary school by Julian Vandyke. He painted the gym at our school and I remember feeling excited to see color staying on the walls.
Now murals are a major part of my offerings as an artist. I approach each job with love and intention because this artwork will influence people’s day to day activities whether they are aware of it or not. My murals highlight culture and energy, they explore symbolism through nature, color, and shapes.
Many of my pieces incorporate hands or some aspect of the human anatomy. Whether its a home, business, or neighborhood wall my goal is to make these spaces brighter and more welcoming.
